We had an awesome trip with Captain Brian. He was patient, fun, and great at helping Nicholas learn how to catch crappie. The boat was very comfortable, and his gear was smooth and easy to use. Tim and I had a fantastic day with Captain Brian. He was kind, knowledgeable, and clearly knows the lake and the fishing he provides. We had a great time and caught a nice mix of crappie along with a few other species. Here’s the deal—we didn’t even hire Brian. We came down to Pomme de Terre Lake for a school fishing tournament, and he went out of his way to help us every step of the way. He helped my boys tie up the boat while I got the truck, then later saw us at the gas station and gave us some crappie to cook for dinner. On top of that, he spent about 20 minutes helping us get set up with the right gear for the next day. It’s people like Brian who make new anglers feel welcome and excited to keep coming back. I can’t recommend him enough, even though I’ve never fished with him. He truly deserves recognition for the way he helps others. Brian, your kindness was the highlight of our weekend.

Captain Brian is a super nice guy who really knows his stuff. I learned a lot about casting for crappie, which was new to me, and finally got Tammy fishing 100% with jigs—a new experience for her as well. You’re never too old to learn a new technique. Highly recommend—great trip and we caught a lot of fish on the last cast!

We had a great time with Brian. I’ve fished all my life, but never really mastered jig fishing. Today I caught my first limit of crappie using jigs only, thanks to Brian’s tips and coaching. I even beat Johnny to my limit—something that never happens! If you’re looking for a great fishing experience, call Brian. You won’t be disappointed.
